I have always drawn and painted, but feel newly inspired by the vibrancy and sheer beauty of the Andalusian towns and countryside. Olvera is a precious jewel and simply has to be painted, by itself and in its magnificent setting. So I come here to try to do just that.

Calle Carnero.
Calle Canero is a narrow, almost hidden street rising steeply towards Olvera church and castle. The whitewashed rock in the middle of the painting marks one of the z shaped defensive gateways which remain from the muslim town. 40cm x 50cm Acrilic on canvas
