I have always drawn and painted, but feel newly inspired by the vibrancy and sheer beauty of the Andalusian towns and countryside. Olvera is a precious jewel and simply has to be painted, by itself and in its magnificent setting. So I come here to try to do just that.

My small version of Nicolas Poussin’s 'THE DANCE TO THE MUSIC OF TIME' I attempted this after being stunned by the beauty of the restored original in London’s Wallace collection painted in 1640. Personal collection 38 cm x 28 cm Water mixable oil colour on paper.
