Lesley Riddihough
Lesley Riddihough was born in Lemington spa in 1943 and attended Birmingham
Art College. She moved to Paris in 1962 where she worked as a model for Lanvin and in 1969 along with her two young daughters she headed for the tranquil island life of
Formentera ( Baleares ) Spain, there she opened a boutique with some friends selling her own clothes designs.
In ’81 she moved to Ibiza where she lived and painted, exhibiting extensively on both Ibiza and Formentera as well as in England and Germany.
In 2005 she moved again when she fell in love with the enchantng village of Gaucin in Andalucia, where she can
now be found in her small studio still painting!
Lesley Riddihough nacio en Lemington Spa , Inglaterra en 1943 y estudio en
Birmingham Art College.Se mudo a Paris en 1962 donde trabajo de modelo para Lanvin y en el ’69 fue con sus dos hijas a vivir la vida tranquila en la isla de Formentera en las Baleares, ahi abrio una boutique vendiendo sus propios disenos.
En el ’81 se traslado a Ibiza donde vivio y pinto durante muchos anos, con
exposiciónes en Ibiza, Formentera, Inglaterra y Alemania. En el 2005 se enamoro del pueblo de Gaucin en Andalucia y decidio quedarse,
y aqui sigue pintando en su pequeno estudio!
