Melissa Hefferlin
Melissa Hefferlin studied in St. Petersburg, Russia, at the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia. She also attended the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, and Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles, where she apprenticed with painter Michael Newberry.
Melissa Hefferlin’s work is in numerous institutional, executive and private collections throughout the USA. She has won prizes from the Pastel Society of America, the Salmagundi Club of NYC, Oil Painters of America and the City of Chattanooga. Her work is in the Hunter Museum of American Art and the Museum of the Academy of Art in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Melissa exhibits with the Miller Gallery, in Cincinnati, OH and with Gallery 1401, Chattanooga, TN and Paul Scott Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her work has been featured in the journals American Artist, Southern Living, American Art Collector and Chattanooga Magazine.
Melissa lives in Olvera, Spain.
