Two Mk.6 English Electric Lightning jet fighters of the Lightning Training Fight escort a Tu 95 Bear out of UK airspace. The Lightning I have painted has been restored by the Lightning Restoration Group at Buntisford, England. Though it can never fly again it is kept in working condition and frequently is run along the runway at full throttle. Sold

A commission to paint a horse for a local rider inspired this painting. The photograph I worked from was taken in the evening with the sun low. To make the horse stand out I added a dark stormy sky as backdrop.

This is scene is painted from an old black and white photograph of Olvera. In the present day the track is now a road and full of shops and houses on both sides.

This is my winning entry for the poster competition for the Carnival Olvera 2010. It shows the games played at Carnival time around the turn of the last century.

This painting is of a farm near to the pueblo of Algodonales in Andalucia. The farmer would use a tractor now to plough, but fifty years ago the work was arduous and hot. 80cm. x50cm. Oils. Sold.

This is a painting of a farm near Olvera in Andalucia. When the crops are in by the end of May the land is ploughed under until seeding time in September, when the rains arrive. During the summer months the land lies ploughed, but barren, under the hot summer sun. 70cm.x 50cm. £100 Sold.

On the West coast of Spain, South of Cadiz is a summer resort called Conil. On the clifftops North of Conil is a wild forest of Stone Pine trees. This painting is of a sunset through the trees. Oils. 80cm.x 40cm. £100.

Near La Muela is a ruined convent, from who's crumbling walls you have a view up the valley, under the limestone slopes of Lijar. A farmer ploughs the steep fields in a landscape mottled with shadow and sun. Oils on board. 80cm. x 60cm. £100

A Bullfighter on horseback turns to follow the Bull.

A mounted Bullfighter controls the horse with his knees whilst preparing to strike the bull.

This painting shows the supremacy of mans creations, whilst his baser drives are evident in the lunacy on the ground. I have a caption for this picture....Our machines are without love or compassion.
