Welcome
Welcome to our exhibition. We hope you enjoy browsing through our work. Most of the paintings are for sale and we will be happy to accept commissions. We all live, paint, or photograph in Andalucia.
I have painted on and off for all of my life. I have a varied choice of subjects, but like most of our little group I am inspired by the Andalucian landscape and its people.
My friend Ray Gilronan is a professional artist who has painted for 30 years and his fine art paintings and limited editions are in collections worldwide.
Joe Gilronan, Ray's son, is a self representing artist, who has a BA. in Fine Art from Liverpool University and also has HND in Design and Ceramics from the University of Wales. Joe mainly paints Tolkien inspired work, but since moving to Spain has become interested in the Andalucian landscape.
Les Burrows has drawn or painted all his life and is also inspired by the Andalucian countryside. Les has recently retired and we may be seeing more of his work in the future.
Frank Hair is a birdlife photographer. Southern Spain is a migration channel for African and European birds, and Frank has photographed both endemic and visiting birds.
Alfredo Lopez Peral paints mostly abstract work but also is a sclulptor in wood. He runs a bar here in Olvera and organises a local theatrical group as well.
Patricia Lane is our latest recruit and is our watercolor star. She paints the stunningly beautiful countryside around her house in Montejaque.
Pauline Emmens is also new to our group and is a textile artist, who uses needle and cotton to create haunting images from cloth and cord.
We all hope you like our paintings and photographs and want you to feel free to contact us with comments or suggestions. Thank you for taking the time to look at our art.
